Beth Mayfield is a legal recruiting consultant with BG Search Associates. Beth was born on June 17, 1969, and grew up in Bainbridge, Georgia. She graduated from Auburn University (B.S., 1991, summa cum laude, top graduate in Auburn School of Business) with a major in Business Administration - Accounting. She received her law degree from Emory University School of Law (J.D., 1994, with honors, top 7%) in Atlanta, Georgia. While at Emory, she served on the staff of the Bankruptcy Developments Journal (1993-1994). She was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 1994. Beth also passed the certified public accounting examination in 1991. Prior to becoming a recruiting consultant with BG Search Associates, Beth practiced law for 13 years specializing in the areas of tax and estate planning. Beth was a partner with Tatum Levine & Powell, LLP (Atlanta, 2000-2007, an associate at Altman, Kritzer & Levick, P.C. (Atlanta, 1997-2000) and an associate at Alston & Bird (Atlanta, 1994-1997). Beth and her husband, Scott Mayfield, a partner with Duane Morris, have four children, McRae, Annie, Elizabeth and James. Beth is currently a Board member and the Treasurer at St. Anne’s Day School. She was the 2005-06 President of the Morris Brandon Elementary School PTA. In her spare time, Beth enjoys running, reading and tennis.
