As Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Bright Now! Dental Inc., Beth has responsibility for the company’s Human Capital Strategy, including Talent Acquisition and Retention, Succession Management, Leadership and Organizational Development, Learning, Employee Engagement and Communication, Total Rewards and Payroll Administration.
Before joining Bright Now Dental in 2007, Beth built a successful Human Resources career in large, multi-location retail companies. Her most recent assignment was as Vice President of Organizational Development for Borders Group, Inc, where she was instrumental in developing a world class Human Capital function. Based at the Borders Group worldwide headquarters in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Beth oversaw Talent Acquisition and Retention, Succession Management, Leadership and Organizational Development, Learning, Employee Engagement and Communication for this Fortune 500 multi-national, multi-division retailer of books, music and movies. Beth was part of the leadership team that grew Borders Books and Music from 50 to over 550 locations in the U.S., U.K. and Asia Pacific region. In 2005, Beth won the company’s prestigious Leadership Award, reflecting her value for and demonstration of excellence in leadership. During her years at Borders, Beth held several other key positions including Waldenbooks Director of Human Resources and Director of Corporate and Distribution Center Human Resources.
Prior to joining Borders Group, Beth spent 16 years at Contempo Casuals, a Los Angeles based fashion apparel retailer. During Beth’s tenure at Contempo, it grew from 20 to over 300 locations and the company added a second division, Pastille. Beth held several positions of increasing responsibility in both Operations and Human Resources.
Beth studied Psychology at California State University and is a graduate of the acclaimed University of Michigan Human Resources Executive Program. In addition to her career, Beth enjoys spending time with her husband, two beautiful daughters, friends and extended family. She loves to entertain and is an avid reader, cook and fitness enthusiast. |
