Beth Richter, associate vice president of retention solutions at Noel-Levitz, works directly with colleges and universities nationwide in student retention. In particular, Dr. Richter provides service and leadership to educators seeking to foster student success and enact early intervention programs through the Retention Management System with the College Student Inventory. She collaborates with the RMS/CSI Community of Educators through an array of services, and co-edits the journal Retention Success.
Offering over 20 years of experience, Dr. Richter has partnered with hundreds of educators concerned with early-alert and intervention initiatives, programs for first-generation students, developmental advising, quality service climates, and other retention-related programs and services. These collaborations have involved implementations of programs affecting the quality of learning environments for students and staff alike.Dr. Richter is co-author of, Strategic Moves for Retention Success, with Dr. Lee Noel and Dr. Randi Levitz, published in the winter 1999 edition of New Directions for Higher Education.Dr. Richter has a master of arts degree in teaching English and has completed her Ph.D. in social foundations through the University of Iowa. |
