Bernon R. Erickson, Jr. is Chief Health Actuary of Independence Holding Company (NYSE: IHC) and President and Chief Executive Officer of Actuarial Management Corporation (AMC), a wholly-owned subsidiary of IHC.
Bernie has 23 years’ experience in the health insurance arena. He spent the first 12 years assuming actuarial roles at consulting firms, insurance companies, and a reinsurance management firm. In 1996, he founded AMC and successfully sheparded it into a recognized industry leader.
In addition to his duties at AMC, Bernie is responsible for the financial performance of the IHC portfolio of health insurance programs, product development related to those programs, and all related actuarial compliance matters.
Bernie has been an Associate of the Society of Actuaries since 1986 and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries since 1989. |
