Berne Kluber focuses on e-commerce in high tech industries. He represents large independent oil and gas exploration and production companies, software development houses, fund managers, and other clients with information technology agreements. These agreements include licenses, hardware purchases and leases, web-based application service providers (ASP), website development and hosting, voice and data communications and satellite services, and consulting agreements for software and infrastructure implementation. Mr. Kluber does additional work in oil and gas transactions, including domestic and international (primarily Egypt, West Africa and Brazil) drilling, master services, gas transportation marketing, gathering, seismic data QA and licensing, supply, and charter agreements. His trade regulation practice focuses on import and export compliance, counseling, and licensing of technology under the International Traffic in Arms, Export Administration, Foreign Assets Controls, and Customs regulations.
