Bernd Wollschlaeger, M.D., is a board-certified family physician in private practice in Florida. He received his medical training in Germany and Israel, including special education in botanical medicine and homeopathy. Dr. Wollschlaeger completed his residency training at Jackson Memorial Hospital, Miami, and served as a chief resident there.
Since 1997 he has been a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine and Family Medicine at the University of Miami, School of Medicine and is a member of the American Board of Family Practice, Dade County, Florida, and American Medical Association. Dr. Wollschlaeger educates physicians about the rational application of herbal remedies and nutritional supplements and frequently lectures to medical groups.
Dr. Wollschlaeger is the Associate Editor of the Journal of the American Nutraceutical Association (JANA) and is the co-chair of the ANA Advisory Council on Continuing Medical Education. Since July 2001, he has served as a member of the Advisory Board of American Botanical Council. |
