Bernard P. Auxenfans, Managing Director, European Operations. An outstanding strategist and exceptional manager, Mr. Auxenfans is an experienced and successful chief executive in agribusiness who joined Kincannon & Reed in 2002. Beginning his Monsanto career in 1969 as a sales representative in France, Auxenfans quickly demonstrated a genius for marketing that led to his transfer to the U.S. and appointments in 1975 as the company’s international product manager and herbicide marketing manager. He was named vice president and general manager of the company’s global agricultural operations divisions in October 1990; appointed president, Monsanto Europe-Africa (Mesa) in May 1997; named Chief Operating Officer of the agriculture business in April 1998; and became Chairman of Mesa in June 1999. In earlier positions with Monsanto, Auxenfans was regional director for Canada and Latin America, and general manager for Europe-Africa. After leaving Monsanto in 2000, he became CEO of FOLNetworks, the United Kingdom’s number one Internet Portal company in agriculture, which now operates as FarmingOnline. He received his Baccalaureat degree from the Institution Sainte Marie at Bourges, France, and his M.S. in Agriculture Economics from the Ecole Nationale Superieure Agronomique de Rennes (ENSAR) in 1967 as Ingenieur Agronome. He is a 1985 graduate of the Stanford University Executive Program. A French national, Auxenfans is fluent in English and Portuguese. |
