Senior Advisor Cross Border Transactions, advises and assists the Firm in developing relationships in Asia and the US to facilitate cross border M&A transactions. He previously served as Managing Director, Asia Practice for the Firm.
Mr. Filler served as an attorney with Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison, a major New York City law firm; as a Senior Executive of Storm Drilling & Marine, Inc., a publicly held energy services company; and as President of Capital B Corporation, which syndicated and managed over 20 private investment partnerships with capital in excess of $250 million.
For several years, Mr. Filler was actively engaged with a team of American entrepreneurs and professionals dedicated to developing, constructing and financing electricity generating plants in Asia and Eastern Europe. In pursuit of these objectives, he has traveled to China, Taiwan, Tajikistan, and the Czech Republic.
Mr. Filler has professional licenses in law, insurance and securities. He has advised and represented entrepreneurs and business owners in technology development, energy and electrical power production and services, entertainment/media, communications, and other industries.
Mr. Filler graduated with honors from Stanford University School of Law, and earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Illinois. Upon completion of ROTC training he was commissioned as an officer in the U.S. Navy, serving in the South Pacific. |
