Bernard L. Kasten, M.D. Dr. Kasten has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors since June 2006. From 1995 to 2004, Dr. Kasten served at Quest Diagnostics Incorporated where he was Chief Laboratory Officer and most recently Vice President of Medical Affairs of the MedPlus Inc. Subsidiary. Dr. Kasten has served as a director of SIGA Technologies (SIGA) since May 2003, and as SIGA's Chief Executive Officer from July 2004 through April 2006. Dr. Kasten is also a director of several privately held companies. Dr. Kasten is a graduate of the Ohio State University College of Medicine. His residency was served at the University of Miami, Florida and fellowships at the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center and National Cancer Institute, Bethesda, Maryland. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Pathology with certification in anatomic and clinical pathology with subspecialty certification in medical microbiology. |
