AREA OF PRACTICE Energy Bernard's practice focuses on representing primarily independent oil and gas companies and individuals in their oil and gas operations and title examination. Approximately 75% of his practice consists of title examination from abstracts or stand-up title examination from run sheets in the court house. REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE Worked on numerous acquisitions of oil and gas properties in excess of $100 million. Negotiated all types of oil and gas agreements such as participation agreements, farmout agreements, operating agreements, drilling and seismic agreements. Member with the law firm of Vinson & Elkins representing clients in their domestic and international oil and gas practice. Practiced law five years in London and represented companies in their international operations.
