Bergein F. Overholt, M.D., a director of AmSurg since November 1992, has served as President of Gastrointestinal Associates, P.C., a gastrointestinal specialty group, and a medical director of The Endoscopy Center, Knoxville, Tennessee, which owns a limited partnership interest in an ambulatory surgery center that is majority-owned and managed by AmSurg, since 1992. Dr. Overholt also serves as Medical Director for AmSurg and Medical Director of the Laser Department at the Thompson Cancer Survival Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. Dr. Overholt also is a member of the Board of Directors of Maryville College in Maryville, Tennessee. |
