Mr. Falk joined Bressler, Amery & Ross as a partner and a member of the securities litigation and regulatory practice group in our Florida office in January 2004. He has been actively involved in securities litigation and arbitration for over 30 years and brings to the firm extensive experience in representing financial institutions and broker/dealers in all aspects of securities law, including the defense of class actions in both Federal and State court and the defense of firms and individuals in arbitration proceedings. Mr. Falk has served as an arbitrator and panel chair at the New York Stock Exchange, American Stock Exchange, and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, and National Futures Association. Mr. Falk is also experienced in regulatory proceedings before the Securities and Exchange Commission, New York Stock Exchange, and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.
Mr. Falk is a regular contributing author to the ABA Securities Litigation Committee’s Broker-Dealer Litigation Annual Survey. He has been a featured speaker on broker-dealer regulation and securities litigation at seminars sponsored by the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association's Law and Compliance Division, the Florida Securities Dealers Association, the American Law Institute American Bar Association, and the Futures Industry Association.
