Since 1979, Bennet Alsher has concentrated on labor and employment law, representing management exclusively. He is experienced in federal and state court litigation in the areas of wrongful discharge, employment discrimination and employment torts. He also has represented companies in matters before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the National Labor Relations Board, and various state and local fair employment practice agencies.
Bennet has written and produced management training programs concerning compliance with discrimination laws, employee privacy rights, sexual harassment in the workplace, maintaining union-free status and other employment-related topics.
He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia as well as the Lawyers Club of Atlanta. He is also on the Board of Directors of the Southeast Regional Office of the Anti-Defamation League.
At Emory University, he was a member of the Emory Law Journal. He is the author of "Validity of Waivers in Discrimination Cases," Labor Law Journal, February 1991. Bennet is also AV® Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell.
