Effective January 1 2005 O’Connell (Ben) Benjamin was named to lead the newly-created Products & Technology Group. Ben is a senior executive with extensive management and technical experience including building technology products for global markets strategic analysis and building new companies. Ben was a Distinguished Member of the Technical Staff at Bell Laboratories making fundamental contributions to the field of Sigma Delta Codecs and other areas of digital signal processing. He was Vice President of AT&T Consumer Products where he led the design and development of the corded and cordless products. Ben continued his career with Lucent Technologies after it was spun-off from AT&T as Vice President in the wireless businesses. He joined Lucent Digital Radio in 1999 and when the company merged to become iBiquity Digital Corporation in 2000 Ben was appointed Co-Chief Operations Officer. Ben is a graduate of The Executive Program; Darden Graduate School of Business and holds BSEE and MSEE degrees.
