Mr. Helwig is an attorney in the Dayton office of Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP. Mr. Helwig graduated magna cum laude from the University of Dayton School of Law where he served on the Law Review. He received his undergraduate degree from Miami University. His legal practice is focused primarily on representation of the firm's clients in various commercial real estate transactions and in general corporate governance. He also has considerable experience handling matters that have reached litigation. He is licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio and in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. Mr. Helwig is active in various charitable and community organizations serving on the board of directors for the Town & Country Fine Arts Gallery, as a member of the Dayton Chamber of Commerce’s Finance Committee, and as an active member of Apex Community Church.
