Mr. Sexton joined Kerlin in 2002 and has over five years of experience in investment banking. Prior to joining Kerlin, Mr. Sexton was a financial analyst for Accenture Ltd., where he specialized in financial modeling, budgeting and financial reporting. In addition, his responsibilities included analyzing numerous outsourcing engagements for several large utility companies to determine profitability based on strategic objectives. Mr. Sexton graduated from the University of Miami where he received a BBA, cum laude, with a concentration in accounting.Mr. Sexton has worked on a number of mergers & acquisitions, recapitalizations, financings and strategic planning assignments covering a broad range of industries. Mr. Sexton’s transaction experience at Kerlin includes among others AECOM’s private equity financing with JP Morgan Partners and Weston Presidio; Del Monte Foods Company’s divestiture of Techni-Cal to an international buyer; the merger of LERETA Corp. with LandAmerica Financial Group; the acquisition of Neurosmith, LLC by Small World Kids Inc.; Edelbrock Corp.’s going private transaction; the recapitalization of Thomson Plastics, Inc. by Altus Capital Partners; the acquisition of Colliers Seeley International by FirstService Corporation; the acquisition of McCann’s Engineering & Mfg. Co. by The Manitowoc Co.; and most recently Farmer Bros. Co.’s acquisition of Coffee Bean International. |
