Benjamin Ritchie joined Moffatt Thomas as an associate in our Pocatello office in 2006. Mr. Ritchie practices in the areas of personal injury defense, medical malpractice defense, premises liability, and workers’ compensation defense. Immediately prior to joining Moffatt Thomas, Mr. Ritchie served as a law clerk to the Honorable Richard T. St. Clair, Judge in the Seventh Judicial District Court of the State of Idaho, Bonneville County. Mr. Ritchie previously worked for Moffatt Thomas as a summer and research associate from December 2003 to October 2004 and also worked as an extern for the U. S. Department of Energy, Idaho Operations Office in 2003 Mr. Ritchie graduated from Idaho State University with a Bachelors of Arts degree in History and was a Golden Key Honors’ Society Member. Following his undergraduate studies, Mr. Ritchie attended the University of Idaho College of Law where he was a George Warren and Richard B. Minas Scholarship recipient and an officer in the Phi Delta Phi Honors Fraternity. While at the University of Idaho College of Law, Mr. Ritchie participated in the McNichols Moot Court Intramural Competition and in the Duberstein National Moot Court Competition, St. John’s University. Mr. Ritchie is a member of the Idaho State Bar and the U. S. District Court of Idaho. |
