Ben is the principal in charge of Somerset’s Assurance Team and also the Manufacturing & Distribution Team. In his role within the Assurance Team, he is responsible for providing direction and support to ensure all assurance engagements meet professional standards and are in compliance with the firm’s quality control elements. Ben oversees assurance engagements (audit, review and compilation) in a wide variety of industries including manufacturing, distribution, construction, employee benefit plans, finance companies, service businesses and non-profit organizations. In addition to assurance services, Ben provides specialized consulting services in the manufacturing and distribution industry consisting of manufacturing cost analysis, materials management, business process improvement, transaction structuring and strategic planning.
