Benjamin B. de Forest is an associate. His practice focuses in the areas of estate planning, probate, Medicaid planning, and elder law. Before joining our firm, Ben was in private practice in the Canton area. He also has previous experience with a small Akron, Ohio law firm. The New York native received his Bachelors degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo and his Juris Doctorate from Ohio Northern University Petit College of Law. Ben is a member of the American Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association and the Stark County Bar Association where he serves as a member of the Elder Law Committee. In addition, he is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. He is also a previous member of the Investigative Sub-committee of the Akron Bar Association’s Disciplinary Committee. Ben, his wife Laura, and their sons reside in Massillon and are members of Rivertree Christian Church. |
