Mr. Kahn is a Shareholder in Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck and based in the Denver office. Mr. Kahn works in the firm’s Litigation Group, focusing on commercial litigation involving contractual disputes, real estate, natural resources, products defense, construction, telecommunications, professional liability and insurance coverage. Mr. Kahn represents entrepreneurs, small businesses and Fortune 500 companies in negotiations and civil litigation matters, including real estate development and ownership, tenant relations, natural resource transactions and management, contractual disputes and consumer matters. He also defends product liability actions, including representing a major consumer products corporation as part of a regional counsel team, defending products liability and contractual litigation across the country, and supervising local counsel. Mr. Kahn represents insurance companies and insureds in coverage matters, including bad faith disputes, custom policy negotiation and professional liability. He has been appointed a Special Assistant Attorney General in the defense of a state psychiatrist and mental institution. Mr. Kahn has handled cases in federal courts in several states, including Arizona, California, Colorado, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New York, Oregon, Washington and Wyoming. He has also litigated in state courts in Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Idaho, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington and Wyoming. As a business owner and investor in the arts and leisure industries, Mr. Kahn fully understands the needs of business owners and closely-held companies.
