Benita J. Harris is Ocean Tomo’s Corporate Paralegal, providing legal and executive assistant support to the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. She is located at the firm’s Chicago office.
Prior to joining Ocean Tomo, Ms. Harris worked as a paralegal at Edelman, Combs, Latturner & Goodwin, LLC, a firm which specializes in Consumer Protection Law. During her time there, she was responsible for project coordination, and managed over one hundred active cases. She has also interned as a law clerk for the Office of the Illinois Attorney General.
Ms. Harris received a B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Sociology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She has an ABA-Approved Paralegal Certificate from Roosevelt University. Currently, she is working on a M.A. in Political and Justice Studies from Governors State University. |
