Mr. O'Mahoney is an attorney with fifteen years corporate experience and nine years intellectual property experience. He has represented high-technology clients in licensing and financing transactions and has provided advice on deal structures, contracts, legal rights, and intellectual property strategies. He has skills and experience in product development, technology transfer agreements, dispute resolution, arbitration, and litigation. Before joining Teknowledge in 1996, Benedict founded a private law practice, developing and implementing intellectual property management strategies for high-tech software companies. He also served as General Counsel for a financial services company; bank examiner for the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco; and Assistant to Crown Counsel and Inspector, Offices of the Attorney General and Narcotics Bureau, Royal Hong Kong Police. Benedict has a B.A. degree from San Francisco State University and a J.D. from University of Santa Clara. He is admitted to practice in courts in California, Washington, D.C., Illinois, U. S. District (Northern District of California), and U.S. Court of Appeals (Ninth Judicial District). |
