Ben’s graphic style marries traditional studio art and computer design in a strategic relationship. His concepts are compelling and precise in delivering their message. One of his specialties: corporate brand and identity development. Ben has focused that expertise on work for Talecris, Better Business Bureaus, Partnership for North Carolina’s Future and Cherokee Investment Partners. Ben jumpstarted his career working with advertising and marketing agencies including Rockett, Burkhead and Winslow and French West Vaughan. In just six years, he helped build awareness for Fortune 500 and 1000 companies such as Lowe’s Home Improvement, Pfizer, BB&T, Wrangler Jeans, Dollar Tree, and GlaxoSmithKline. In the process, his work garnered multiple industry awards. Before joining Capstrat, he took on the role of emerging media director, capitalizing on his interest in interactive and Web design with an emphasis on usability. Ben earned a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke with a major concentration in computer graphics and a minor in traditional printmaking. |
