Ben Naskar has served as vice president and general manager of Atheros’ Wireless Networking Business Unit since June 2007. Prior to joining Atheros Naskar was vice president and general manager of PMC Sierra’s Communications Products Division where he oversaw four lines of business: customer premises equipment (CPE) wireline wireless and optical fiber. Prior to PMC Naskar was chief executive officer and president of Magfusion a private company focused on RF MEMS. Prior to that Naskar was with Analog Devices as vice president and managing director Asia Pacific where he helped grow revenues from $55 million to $650 million within six years. Previously Naskar was group director of the Computing and Communications Division for National Semiconductor and he also held senior management positions at Advanced Micro Devices. Naskar holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He also holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Computer Science from the University of Auckland in New Zealand. He has also done post graduate work in electrical engineering at University of Santa Clara. |
