Before joining GoKnow, Ben worked with the University of Michigan's Center for Highly Interactive Computing in Education (Hi-CE) for eight years in a wide range of capacities including web and database development, and web applications programming. Ben's primary interest lies in developing learner-centered technologies with practical use in educational settings. Ben is the developer of GoKnow's Palm OS® Archive and Assessment Manager (PAAM), a web-based tool that allows teachers to manage and assess their students' work on handheld devices. Ben completed three years of studies at the University of Michigan College of Engineering concurrent with his work at Hi-CE. |
