Ben DeBerry joined Carlyle Group in June 2007 and currently serves as President of the company. He manages all aspects of the business and works closely with his talented team of search professionals to strategically grow each practice. With more than 30 years of business expertise - a decade in executive search - Ben is a collaborative leader with a focus on building long term partnerships with his clients.
Prior to joining Carlyle Group, Ben was global managing director of Edward W Kelley & Partners' industrial markets practice group. He has held various senior level management positions and was also CEO of a 30+ unit Midwestern restaurant chain. Ben's experience in both the corporate and entrepreneurial arenas gives him unique insight into the recruitment and placement of all types of executives.
Ben is active in several charitable and professional associations including the Union League Club of Chicago and Metropolitan Family Services. He serves on the Board of Directors DePaul University, Kellstadt Business School and Old St. Pat's Catholic Church. Ben is also on the Governing Board of Leo High School.
Ben received a BS from DePaul University in Business, with a concentration in management and marketing. |
