Mr. Chigier brings to the company more than 20 years of experience in speech recognition technology. Ben served as CEO and Chairman of PureSpeech, which he also founded, a pioneer in speech recognition for the telecommunications market. PureSpeech sold more than one million copies of its award winning software through a variety of distribution channels prior to being acquired by Voice Control Systems in 1998. Previously, Ben developed speech recognition systems for NYNEX and the Computer Science Department at Carnegie-Mellon University. He holds a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering and in Mathematics, and an M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. |
