Mr. Perks joined Navigant Consulting in May 2000 from PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where he was a senior partner in the Financial Advisory Services Group. With Price Waterhouse/ PricewaterhouseCoopers, he had more than 32 years of professional services experience, including 22 as an audit and consulting partner, in providing financial reporting, accounting, auditing, tax, economic and litigation consulting services to clients.
He has applied his range of accounting, auditing, tax, financial reporting and consulting expertise to examinations of company financial statements and evaluations of internal accounting control systems and procedures. His consulting experience also includes merger and acquisition/divestiture audits; due diligence reviews in M&A transactions; and analysis of financial reporting, accounting, auditing, tax, economic and business issues in litigation consulting/arbitration proceedings.
Mr. Perks holds a Professional Accounting Program degree from Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, a Juris Doctor (law) degree and a Masters in Business Administration degree from the University of Cincinnati, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Denison University. Mr. Perks is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois Society of Certified Public Accountants, and is a licensed CPA in Illinois, California and Arizona. He is also a Certified Fraud Examiner and a member of the American Bar Association and the Financial Executives Institute.
