Belinda A. Bacon Professional Experience Belinda Bacon is a Board Certified Construction Lawyer and a registered Florida Professional Engineer and attorney who practices exclusively in the area of Construction Law and Litigation. Ms. Bacon is a Board Certified by the Florida Bar. Ms. Bacon's experience includes representation of owners, contractors, subcontractors, design professionals, and suppliers in a variety of construction related litigation and transactional matters, in both the public and private sector. She has handled issues related to contract drafting and negotiation, delay claims, and Florida's construction lien law in several major South Florida projects including the expansion of the Miami International Airport, and a large infrastructure project for Miami Dade County. She has also defended ADA class action claims for Fortune 500 companies and has advised such companies on preventing such claims. Activities & Memberships She is a member of the Florida and Ohio Bars, and spent three years as a transportation engineer/planner, and two years in Kenya in the Peace Corps before her legal career.
