Béatrice Léon, Chief Information Officer North America and Chief Information Officer Pernod Ricard USA, joined Pernod Ricard in 1999, as IT director of Austin Nichols. As Chief Information Officer of Pernod Ricard North America, Léon is responsible for overseeing IT strategy and execution in each of the Groupe Pernod Ricard subsidiaries in Canada, Mexico and the U.S., with a particular emphasis in the U.S., which is a Pernod Ricard North America key market.
Prior to joining Pernod Ricard, Léon was Information Technology Director at DMC Inc., a large international textile manufacturer. Léon started her career in France at Fromageries Bel SA, the maker of Laughing Cow and Babybel cheeses. She came to the U.S. in 1989 to become Information Systems Manager at the U.S. subsidiary of Fromageries Bel SA. Leon holds a Master's and a post-graduate degree in Economy from the University of Paris-Sorbonne where she also received an undergraduate degree in Accounting.
She is an assistant professor at Columbia University in New York where she has been mentoring students in Technology Management for the past three years. |
