Basit has led the design and development of several Decision Support Systems (DSS), data warehousing applications, Client-server and web based process automation applications, and web-based sales-force automation solutions. He has been instrumental in optimizing the database design for a billing data DSS to significantly reduce the query response time on large data volumes. Basit has worked extensively on the problems of customer churn analysis of communications customers based on regular transaction data analysis. He has also utilized the ideas of data warehousing and On-line Analytical Processing (OLAP) in his recent projects. Basit has BS in Computer Science from University of Karachi and MS in Computer Science from New Jersey Institute of Technology. |
