Basil is responsible for all engineering and product development surrounding Keurig's K-Cup portion pack including packaging manufacturing equipment. Basil joined Keurig in 2003. He brought more than 20 years of packaging engineering experience in food products to Keurig from Sweetheart Cup Company where he was Director of Technology and was responsible for the design, manufacture, installation and continuous support of hundreds of packaging lines. At Keurig, Basil is responsible for the design, development and installation of Keurig's patented high speed packaging lines, as well as the research and development associated with Keurig's patented portion packs, the K-Cup. Basil received his BSEE from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where he also continued his graduate studies. |
