Mr. Kallmerten is responsible for credit administration and asset management of RED CAPITAL GROUP’s at-risk investments and the credit review, and asset management of investments for the Group’s mezzanine funds. With nearly 30 years of experience in corporate and real estate finance, Mr. Kallmerten’s background includes experience with numerous property types and multiple financing techniques, including taxable and tax-exempt fundings, credit and liquidity enhancements, standby commitments, deficit funding facilities, and loan placements. He joined Banc One’s Housing and Healthcare Group in 1994 after a long tenure with Bank One Columbus, NA. While he was with Bank One, Columbus, Mr. Kallmerten was manager of Income Property Lending, where he supervised the origination, closing, and servicing of more than $500 million of residential and commercial financings. Prior to that, he was in Commercial Lending at Huntington National Bank and later at Huntington Mortgage Company where he originated and underwrote commercial real estate loans. He also managed the residential and commercial mortgage servicing function there, which had a staff of 60 and a portfolio in excess of $2 billion. Mr. Kallmerten graduated with a degree in Finance from The Ohio State University. |
