Experience: Bart joined MR Elgin in March 1985. Since 1987 he has specialized in 4 industries. These are trade show exhibits, store fixtures, point-of-purchase displays and architectural millwork. Before joining MR Elgin, Bart was with a restaurant division of General Mills for 12 years as a manager and area supervisor. Management Recruiters and Red Lobster are the only companies he has worked for since he graduated from Purdue in 1972.
People I Recruit: The client companies in my specialty areas assign me a broad range of searches. And although I recruit many people in these industries, only the high achievers get hired. That is a common denominator- the people I place are usually in the top 20% among their peers in their industries.
Philosophy: I understand that making a career move is a very, very important decision for a person to make, and that these decisions affect not only the person but also his/her family in life-changing ways. Of course, the decision NOT to make a career move- to stay at the current company- is also very important. I respect all my candidates' decisions- whatever they are- because I understand their needs come first. On the company side, I realize that the most important decisions that managers make are the ones that involve staffing/hiring. The success of a company is determined by the quality of its employees.
Testimonial: "Would use Bart again in his field of business. Wish all MRI people were this good."- Mr. Collins, President, Wisconsin. "Bart is a real pro and a credit to your organization"- G.H., General Manager, Texas. |
