As senior vice president Engineering Barry Twohig leads Critical Path's product development and new technology integration. Mr. Twohig has served as the vice president messaging since November 2000. In this role he managed the worldwide Critical Path messaging engineering organization including development and release of Critical Path's Personal Address Book Calendar Mail Server and Notification Products and led the department during the development of Critical Path's new Instant Messaging and Presence Technology.
Mr. Twohig came to Critical Path when Isocor was acquired in 2000. Prior to Isocor Mr. Twohig spent 7 years at Retix where he worked in the European development center in both development and professional services roles on communication technology projects including development integration and deployment of Retix communication software to major telecommunications providers and OEM's in the US UK and Japan.
Mr. Twohig earned a Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering from Trinity College in Dublin.
