Barry founded Red Dog Software in 2003 after spending more than 15 years in software engineering and development, technical due diligence and software licensing contract negotiation. Before starting Red Dog Software, Barry was vice president of technology and engineering at Wego Systems (acquired by Lightspeed Inc.) where he led the development of ReadyPortal. Barry previously spent nine years at Adobe Systems, where he developed award-winning commercial software applications including Aldus IntelliDraw and Adobe PhotoDeluxe. As engineering manager and later as director, Barry led more than 100 staff members and was responsible for engineering, quality assurance and program management for several products. Barry also has served as director of program management at Petopia.com (acquired by PETCO), where he managed engineering and quality assurance and drove technical product design and architecture. Barry holds a B.S. in computer science from Colorado State University and is a member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). |
