Barry Klayman is the founder and CEO of Klayman/Alexander Group, Inc. He has been engaged by private and public companies on both the buy and sell side. He has represented companies ranging in value from $2 million to $3.2 billion. Klayman has also obtained financing and been integrally involved in Internet start-ups, inventions, and development stage companies. He has well established relationships with private equity groups and many of the largest public companies regarding acquisitions and tax structured transactions. Prior to Klayman/Alexander Group, Inc., he was a founding member of Klayman & Korman, LLC, a Chicago based CPA and consulting firm acquired by Deloitte & Touche in October 2001. Klayman grew the firm to be one of the 100 largest of its kind in the U.S. The firm was unique in that it provided a substantial amount of M&A services. He consulted with clients (domestic and foreign) regarding M&A and general strategic planning in a CEO and/or Director equivalent capacity. He obtained his Bachelors Degree from Walton and Certified Public Accountant Certificate from the University of Illinois. Klayman has been a member of The Illinois CPA Society and The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He has been and / or currently is an officer and member of the board of privately held companies in various industries including service, distribution, Internet, technology, manufacturing, and real estate. He has also been a member of the board of directors of numerous not-for-profit organizations including: The George M. Eisenberg Chicago Boy's Club, The Chicago Chapter of the National Kidney Foundation, and GMN-International Accounting Association. |
