Barry was previously a Director at Citigroup where he spent five years as the senior banker in its Direct Private Placements Group, responsible for originating and executing private equity, mezzanine debt and other structured capital transactions. Prior to that, Barry was a founding member of the Financial Entrepreneurs Group at Salomon Brothers (Citigroup’s predecessor company). He also worked at CS First Boston and Wasserstein Perella as an Associate in their Mergers & Acquisitions groups. Barry graduated cum laude in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1987 and received an MBA with honors and distinction in Finance from the University of Chicago’s Graduate School of Business in 1993. |
