Barry Pearl was appointed as a Director in October 2006. Mr. Pearl is presently a consultant in the petroleum pipeline and terminal industry and serves as a Director of Kayne Anderson Energy Development Company. Mr. Pearl recently retired from TEPPCO Partners L.P. where he served as President Chief Executive Officer and Director from 2002 through 2005 and as President and Chief Operating Officer from 2001 until his appointment as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Pearl began his career with Champlin Petroleum Company in 1974 and served in a variety of staff financial and analysis positions until his appointment as Vice President and General Manager of Calnev Pipeline in 1982. Mr. Pearl joined Southern Pacific Pipelines in 1984 and served as Vice President Operations Senior Vice President Business Development and Planning and Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. From 1998 through 2000 Mr. Pearl was Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Maverick Tube Corporation. Mr. Pearl has been involved in a number of petroleum industry organizations including service as Chairman of the Association of Oil Pipelines from 2004 through 2005. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from Indiana University and was awarded a Masters of Arts degree in Operations Research from Yale University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Denver. |
