Barry P. Rosenzweig, MD, FACC, has been working with QMed as a consultant since 1997.
Dr. Rosenzweig received his undergraduate degree in biology from Yale College and his medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine. His residency training in Internal Medicine, chief residency, and fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease were likewise completed at NYU. Dr. Rosenzweig is the founder and Director of the Adult Echocardiography Laboratory at the Bellevue Hospital Center, New York City and is the Director of the Training Program in Cardiovascular Disease at the New York University School of Medicine. He serves as a consultant in Cardiovascular Disease at the NYU Medical Center (Tisch Hospital) and at the New York Harbor Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Dr. Rosenzweig holds the academic rank of Associate Professor of Medicine at the NYU School of Medicine.
Dr. Rosenzweig is the author of nearly fifty peer-reviewed articles. His interests include medical education, heart failure, and the clinical applications of the various techniques of echocardiography.
