Barry J. Bentley is one of Bentley Systems’ co-founders and has served as a director and an executive officer since the company’s inception in 1984. He is one of the originators of MicroStation and has been continuously involved in the planning and development of Bentley’s software products and technology. From 1984 to 1996, Dr. Bentley served as chairman of the board. His software development career dates back to 1979, when he co-founded and served as vice president of Dynamic Solutions Corporation, where he worked on products for data acquisition and analysis. Dr. Bentley holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Delaware and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the California Institute of Technology. |
