Barry H. Horowitz joined Eisner & Lubin in 1981 and has been a partner at the firm since 1991. An expert in state and local taxes, Barry helps clients with sales and use taxes, payroll taxes, and residency and nexus issues. In addition, Barry advises clients in strategic planning, transaction reviews, risk assessment, tax law compliance, and corporate restructuring. When asked to name one common denominator in working with diverse clients, Barry replied, as the area of taxation is ever-changing, the challenges we face for our clients require continuously upgrading our knowledge and skills. The one constant, however, is a preservation of the highest level of service that our clients deserve. Barry belongs to the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York and New Jersey chapters of the State Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is a former chairman of the New York State Society’s Municipal and Local Taxation Committee and a former editorial board member of the The CPA Journal. Barry received his B.B.A. in accounting and M.S. in taxation from Baruch College of the City University of New York. He continues his professional education in taxation. Licensed to practice in both New York and New Jersey, Barry is expanding the firm’s presence in the Garden State. Barry has two children and resides in Old Bridge, N.J. Born and bred in New York, Barry is a die-hard fan of both the New York Mets and the New York Rangers. He spends his leisure time playing golf, skiing and traveling throughout the country. |
