Barry concentrates his practice in the defense of medical malpractice cases. As a physician, he brings a unique perspective to the representation of physicians, nurses and other healthcare providers and institutions. Dr. Magen graduated from Temple University School of Law where he was an editor of the Law Review, and from Temple University School of Medicine. He earned his undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University where he received a four-year scholarship for excellence. In recognition of his legal potential, he was named to the list of "Pennsylvania Rising Stars," in 2005 and again in 2006 by the publishers of Law & Politics, as featured in Philadelphia magazine. Only 2.5% of Pennsylvania Lawyers are selected to this list, based on a selection process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, evaluation of the candidates and research. Dr. Magen is a member of the Pennsylvania and Philadelphia Bar Associations and the American Medical Association. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. |
