BSG Financial’s founder, Barrett Nichols, a native of Louisville, Kentucky, attended Indiana University’s Executive Program Graduate School of Business after graduating from Hampden-Sydney College. He has spent most of his professional life in the financial services arena, including 20 years in corporate lending and retail banking at PNC, rising to Executive Vice President. During his career at PNC, Barrett successfully merged its Indiana acquisitions into one bank, PNC Indiana, where he served as President, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Upon leaving PNC, Barrett helped found Mesa Food Products, located in Louisville, Kentucky. He served as President and CEO until the sale of Mesa to ConAgra Foods. Barrett then founded BSG Financial, where he is Chief Executive Officer. He serves or has served as a board member and officer for several civic and charitable groups, including The Community Foundation of Louisville; J. Graham Brown Foundation; Metro United Way; American Printing House for the Blind; Dare to Care Food Bank; Kentucky Derby Museum; the Fund for the Arts and the Greater Louisville Project. |
