Mr. Reese joined TXI in 1967 as a Sales Representative with TXI’s United Cement Company in Mississippi and has held various management positions throughout TXI within the cement aggregate and concrete operations. Born in Tupelo Mississippi Barrett attended Mississippi State University and received his degree in Business in 1965.
Barrett is Chairman of the Texas Aggregate and Concrete Association’s Promotion and Marketing Committee Co-Chairman of the South Central Region Concrete Promotion Council member of the Portland Cement Association’s Public Works Paving and Residential Committees the American Concrete Paving Association’s Streets and Local Roads Promotion Committee; a Director of the Coppell Chamber of Commerce Coppell Texas and a past President of Expanded Shale Clay and Slate Institute.
