Mr. Hauptfuhrer has been a director of Wolverine since May 1998. Mr. Hauptfuhrer retired May 1, 2004 from his position as Co-Head of the Corporate & Investment Banking Division of Wachovia Corporation (formerly, First Union Corporation ("First Union")), a financial services corporation, since September 2001 and has served as Senior Executive Vice President of Wachovia Corporation since February 2002. Mr. Hauptfuhrer previously served as Co-Head of the Corporate & Investment Banking Division of First Union from January 2000 to September 2001, Co-Head of Investment Banking for First Union from January 1999 to December 1999, and a Managing Partner of First Union Capital Partners, a private equity investment group within First Union from April 1988 to December 1998. |
