Barbara Larson serves the INTEGRIS Foundations as Administrative Director. Her employment with INTEGRIS Baptist began in 1993 after completion of an internship with the Foundation. For the next three years she assisted with events, volunteers and donor cultivation.
In July, 1996 she accepted a position with the Troy & Dollie Smith Cancer Center, managing their numerous events and volunteers. Barbara's love of fundraising led her to seek funding for many of those events and eventually to her return to the Foundation in June of 1999 where she continues to seek funding not only for the Cancer Center, but for a wide variety of needs within INTEGRIS Baptist Medical Center. After serving as Executive Director of the Baptist Medical Center Foundation for 5 years Barbara was promoted to Administrative Director for the Metro Foundations in 2006.
Barbara is a graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Science in Community Health/Management. Her professional affiliations include the National Committee on Planned Giving, Oklahoma Planned Giving Council and Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP). She has served the Rockies & Southwest Region of AHP as Primer chair (2004) and Conference co-chair (2005). Currently Barbara is co-chair for the AHP Foundation's Core Curriculum Committee and serves on the regional cabinet. She is Regional Director-Elect for the AHP Rockies & Southwest.
In her leisure time she enjoys live music and is an experienced "herder' of cats. |
