Barbara Kux is Chief Procurement Officer and a member of the Group Management Committee.
Ms. Kux began her international management career in 1979 with Nestlé S.A., as a Marketing Manager in Germany. After her MBA studies in 1984, she joined McKinsey & Company as a management consultant in strategy and business transformation and was promoted Engagement Manager. Five years later Ms. Kux accepted the offer of her McKinsey client Asea Brown Boveri AG as Vice-President responsible for Central/Eastern Europe. In 1993, she returned to Nestlé as Vice-President being responsible for 18 European markets until 1999, when she joined Ford Motor Company as Executive Director with a major role in the transformation of Ford Europe.
Ms. Kux was appointed first Philips' Chief Procurement Officer and a member of its Group Management Committee on October 1, 2003.
