Barbara Keeney joined Southern Living At HOME in 2005 with 23 years of direct selling experience. She spent 14 of those years as an independent consultant in the field and the last nine years as a Regional Manager for Weekenders, which sells women's apparel. In her first role as a consultant, selling women's fashion and jewelry for Karla Jordan International, she was a consistent top-10 seller year after year and was successful at recruiting and building other managers on her team. Her successes allowed her the opportunity to relocate to Japan for four years and open the Asian market for "Beauty for All Seasons," a direct selling cosmetic company. Following that experience, Barbara brought her knowledge and talent to the corporate side of direct sales. During her time with Weekenders, one of her greatest successes was taking her market from five Senior Directors to 28 Senior Directors. She attributes this to her passion for follow-up and her ability to coach people to achieve higher levels, both of which are invaluable in her role as Southern Living At HOME Director of Training and Field Development. In addition to her professional accomplishments, Barbara has run and completed eight marathons and has coached 20 people to complete races from 10K up to full marathons. She has two sons, H.J., Chris, and Ryan, and two granddaughters. |
