Executive Vice President, Business Development Shire PLC
Barbara Deptula has served as a member of our Board of Directors since December of 2005. Ms. Deptula is the Executive Vice President of Business Development at Shire PLC. Previously she served as President of the Biotechnology Division of Sicor, Inc., which was subsequently acquired by Teva Pharmaceuticals. Ms. Deptula also served as the Senior Vice President for Commercial and Product Development at Coley Pharmaceutical Group in Wellesley, MA. She has held various senior management positions with U.S. Bioscience, Schering-Plough and American Cyanamid. Ms. Deptula holds a BS in pharmacy from the University of Connecticut and an MBA in finance from the University of Chicago Business School. |
